Using photoshop software, I have looked at conventional typography, to each genre. The first masthead clearly has connotations to a rock magazine. I have used the conventional red which connotates to danger. For the second masthead, I have looked at typography with a bubbly effect. This has connotations to the word pop. I have also used conventional colours but has the conventions to the intended target audience of teenagers.
