Research and Planning: Photoshop skin tutorial
I used this image to learn the functions of Photoshop. I started by getting rid of blemishes. This meant I used the tool that allows blemishes to disappear. It's the function that is labeled by using a plaster. The top left corner of the screen also had this drop down menu. The drop down option allowed me to minimize the size of my spot healing tool. This needed to be done because I noticed that getting rid of a scar left a patch in it's place. After that I blurred her complexion so that it had a glow affect. This also blurred the hair but by zooming in (using the magnifying glass) allowed me to get up close with the hair. I added brown highlights by changing the color function from black to brown. I then had to maximize and minimize the paint brush tool so that the color was neat and looked more natural. I then began to apply makeup. This was easy because I zoomed into the eyes and changed the color from brown to black. Then I applied a eyeliner touch. I decided to apply lipstick which I found complicated because it was hard to avoid the teeth. This meant that I had to use the function that let me step backwards. When I messed up completely, I went on the history and then went back to the step that looked fine.
