Learning how to use a DSLR camera:
Here you have natural light which presents its own high key lighting. The image is also a long shot of flowers which is done by the landscape option off the dial.
For this image no flash was nessasary but I used the flower dial. By changing the dial, I have learnt how to navigate the canon camera to get nice images.
Natural lighting but I have used the moving dial for my own choice. This is because I was curious to see how it works. What I learnt is that in movement, it captures multiple freeze frames. This would be the best dial to create a giff.
Natural lighting but I have used a flash. This is using the movement dial and shows perfectly a moment off freeze frame in the wide shot.
This is a long shot using the flash on. This would establish the scenery.
In this image you have a long shot with people. This is with the flash off but it captures different gestures within a scene which would be perfect to demonstrate a story.
High key lighting but the flash is on. This image is a person within a long shot frame but I have put the movement dial on.
Here's a close up which is done by using the face dial. It's in high key lighting but unnatural light and the flash is off because it's too blinding for the eye. The close up catches facial expression which expresses emotions.
Here I am using flash on but a person is not in the frame. This establishes surroundings which sets up the scene for action.
I have used flash on so it has turned into a medium close up in natural light.
The object for this frame is a small object which in this image is more of a cut away.
You can tell it's high key lighted but the dial is on flash off because of the dingy orange lighting.
Another small object which could be classed as a cut away. The flash is on and it's been zoomed in.
The stairs is a low angle shot which shows clearly the main focus of the frame. You can tell the flash is on because the lighting is more natural looking compared to lighting off and orange tinge to it's lighting.
