Research and planning: upper tier front cover

The upper tier of the magazine already advertises the inside features. I want to figure out how to make an upper tier area in which it achieves some form of inside context. The triangle normally has a feature which creates magazine value. The colors fit the connotational color scheme. I will use this idea so that The layout stays busy. I may use a strip that uses an image and typography but I may just use typography saying thinks like,"Araina  confesses all."
M magazine already demonstrates feminine connotations. You can tell the appeal to the young teenage girl target audience through the language and the type of images. They all have smiling expressions or a cheeky expression which creates a fun tone. Each image is a medium close up except for the wide shot of twilight. Taking inspiration, I may create a white outline border for my sections. I may also use the idea of the kisses and love hearts to embellish the images or I'll do that for my additional posters. I will also make small but readable coverline text to support the images.

Teen Now has a clear/ crisp layout. The tidiness creates sections but keeps a busy layout. I may change my masthead to a more bold typography because the pop typography should pop out. Just in this upper tier, you have a coverline image next to another coverline image. I like how the borders separate the two. There is also a puff clearly blended and brought to the front of the the pink and blue areas.
