To take this image, the scene was set with natural high key lighting. This will make it easier for when I use quick selection tool, to take out the background. Costume wise, her clothing has connotations to pop. The leather jacket style has the "individual artist," style. Considering mise en scene, the makeup is subtle which is conventional to pop magazines. She also has that red lips style which makes the image stand out more. It's also the same trademark style of Taylor Swift who is a pop artist so I copied that idea. Posture and facial expressions holds connotations to a light hearted tone. The image will be great for a poster because it's fun and has alot of characteristics to it.

This image I have used for my main contents page because It's simple and her facial expression shows she's happy. Costume wise it's very fashion forwad, simple yet has pop artist connotations. The intended target audience age range is 11-16 years old so you wouldn't have an image that's too revealing but pop magazines tend to have images which shows a slight bit of flesh which is what I have captured in this image. Her belly bar is revealed which is also a style that is popular in the pop teenage audience.

In this image, I have used a medium close up lit with high key lighting/ natural light. I have also included a prop of an umbrella so that the image has a quirky edge. It also helps keep focused on her facial expressions which shows her nice complexion.

You have a wide shot that keeps Caitlin's full body in focus. Even though the image has a simple but quirky edge, I can't use a full body shot for a contents page because it makes the magazine look more indie.

This image is quite humorous and shows fun characteristics which is conventional to pop magazines. It also highlights facial features which displays a joyful expression. I'm going to take out the background and use it as a poster which will increase magazines value. Posters are also conventional to pop because it allows the audience to have professional images for them to keep.
