The majority of the people I've serveyed would purchase a magazine monthly. This shows that monthly editions would be an appropriate release for my magazine Rising Star. The sample that I surveyed mainly listen to main stream pop who have became famous without social networking help e.g Taylor Swift and Drake. This shows that the more credited pop music are people who are famous without social networking and being apart of a contest. The majority of the sample will pay £2.50 so my magazine price will be £2.50. This will also be positive for my audience because the socio-economic is classed under E group. This means that they have no means of income because they are not economically active. My target audience chose the colour scheme of pink, yellow and blue. They hold connotations of the pop genre with these colours the most. I may not use blue as one of the main colours because it has more masculine connotations and my magazine is targeted at the teenage 11-16 year old females. Yet considering mise en scene, blue will be a conventional colour worn by one or more of my band members. The coverlines that people are most interested in can be tied down to the informal context of an interview. This will adhere to conventions of a light hearted, fun tone because of the combination connotations of celeb gossip, interviews and reviews. Finally you have competitions which interest my intended target audience the most. This is also conventional to pop magazines because it allows the intended target rare opportunities of winning prizes. This also increases the magazine's value.
